    Jean-Nicolas Trottier\u2019s Trio, Acid Bunny, is a contemporary jazz trio formed in 2013 by trombone player, composer, and arranger, Jean-Nicolas Trottier, with fellow musicians R\u00e9mi-Jean Leblanc on bass and Richard Irwin on drums.\u00a0 Since then, the group has performed at various venues and jazz festivals including the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Off Festival de Jazz de Montr\u00e9al, and the Queretaro Jazz Festival in Mexico. Their first record entitled\u00a0Acid Bunny<\/em>\u00a0came out in September 2014 on Effendi Records.\u00a0 With compositional styles going from swing to rock, Trottier\u2019s original compositions brings the audience to a universe where free improvisation and formal structures overlap, resulting in a surprising and highly inventive
